After 8 years of captivity, two lemurs go found by the companions...
Today, we welcomed two grown-up makis, a male and a female. The owners put back them to the DREEF of Tuléar and we assured the transport of Tuléar the LRC. Both makis have no name. They lived in captivity for 8 years at these private individuals. Both makis have the healthy air and according to their former owners, they were never sick. Concerning their diet, the former owners gave them some rice, brèdes as spinach and bananas. They decided to give spontaneously makis because they saw and heard on the TV that it is forbidden to have lemurs at home. They were afraid and today they are aware that you should not keep any more these animals at their home.

Both makis are at present in the home of quarantine while waiting for the coming of the veterinarian to make the sanitary examination.
